Tania, Tatiana, Tatiana Fedorovna...Having graduated from Riga's aeronautical technical school of Civil aviation in 1980 I had my first access to the work in Murmansk' airport. There I met Tatiana Fedorovna Kovaleva for the first time. By that time Tania had been working for more then a year as a controller at flight traffic service having finished eight-months courses Teaching Training Unit-6 in Leningrad, and she had started to work in aviation as an operator at that very flight panning service. So, that young and nice woman got the first "student". She explain me quickly and understandable all my future work: planning, coordination, notification and the control of the rightness of decisions for departure and many other nuances of local airlines behind the polar circle. That time "light" aviation was the kind of a swarm of bees, besides the fact, that bees were more organized. A person who worked at flight planning service will understand all the difficulties of the work. But Tania had to do a lot and not only at her work. Her son was 5, her husband was a pilot of a helicopter, all in all, a young family. And she had everything O.K. at home and at work, and that was, believe me, not so easy. In the beginning of 1982, after courses in Ulianovsk, Tania got an access at "Tower" of local airlines and later at approach control of Murmansk airport. Everywhere she worked, she did it properly. Not noticing how, everybody started to call her Tatiana, and now Tatiana Fedorovna. Her life can not be called unruffled. Her husband died too early and she brought up her son alone. Now he works in aviation and he got married not long ago. Tatiana Fedorovna Kovaleva still works in Murmansk airport now. She is a profound specialist and a very charming person! For the years of working activity Tatiana trained more then ten specialists of traffic service. That was not easy to work in a male team, to work well and to be respected by the colleagues. Tatiana managed to do it, so as her two friends, controllers at flight planning service, Ludmila Hmeleva and Nadezhda Moliakova. These wonderful women work not worse then the most of the men. All of them are at their places and deserve the greatest respect. It is good that these nice women are with us, and they not only adorn their working place, but also do the work great!
